- It does not open, or file is corrupt.
- It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)
Learning Outcome:
After completing this exercise, you shall be able to:
- Use pen tool, marquee tool, lasso tool, polygonal lasso tool, magnetic lasso tool, quick selection and magic wand tool in Adobe Photoshop.
- Remove or change the background of any portrait/image/picture.
- Place any portrait in a photo frame.
Problem Statement:
With the help of Pen tool, Marquee tool, Lasso tool, Polygonal Lasso tool, Magnetic Lasso tool, Quick Selection and Magic Wand tool, remove the background of the image and place it in the frame given in the images folder.Instructions:
- After completing the task, take the screenshot of the final picture with the Photo Frame.
- Also take a screenshot of the Layer Panel.
- Insert all screenshots of above-mentioned tasks in an MS Word file and upload it on the LMS (MS Word file is mandatory).
Note:Use the image available in the images folder to complete the Exercise solution.
Frame file is given in PNG format, you just need to open it in Adobe Photoshop and place it above or top of your edited image layer image in the white part of the frame.
Keep your work in layers and don’t merge layers after completing the task.
Don’t forget to save your work file properly after completing the task.
Exercise File, frame PNG and the image to be used in solving the exercise are enclosed in the Zip file.
To unzip the file, follow the given steps:
- Right-click on .zip file and click on "Extract All" in the context menu.
- In "Extract Compressed (Zipped) Folders" dialog, enter or browse folder path where you want files to be extracted.
- Click on the "Extract" button to start the extraction.
